About Us

„Te Deum Adoramus Philharmonia” is a non-profit, independent, non-governmental, apolitical, charitable, irrespective of age, gender, nationality, or religion.

Two big departments:

The Choir: numbers aprox. 130 people and is made up of both young professional musicians and gifted young men and women which have an open heart to praise God. Each of them perform in their local churches which range from Timişoara, Oradea, Cluj-Napoca, Deva, Sibiu, Arad, and Bistriţa.

The Orchestra: made up of 50-65 people, all profesional musicians and students in music academys from around Romania. Some of them even take part in national philarmonica orchestras from the West side of Romania.

Our purpose is spreading the Word of God through our praises, ephasising the „treasure” which He handed over to each of us, and letting it be realized at a higher quality level.

We organise concerts in churches, but the primary aim is to step out the church, in public halls (culture halls, theater), unconventional places (in the open air, in parks of the major big cities in Romania), looking to disperse the Gospel in strategic locations. Equally aiming to teaching the christian youth through music.

All of our actions were conceived and drawn up with the church.

We have colaborated so far with churches from Cluj-Napoca, Timişoara, Oradea, Sibiu, Arad, Deva and in the future we wish to further our venture with brothers in Christ from other areas in the country and even abroad.

We should also mention the fact that in the 2005 December issue of the Romanian Pentecostal organizations' magazine „Cuvântul Adevărului” an article about „Te Deum Adoramus Philharmonia” was published.
